Espoma Organic Chicken Manure (3-2-3)

Are you sick of overpriced and overhyped fertilizers with fancy labels and promises? I am too. But this fertilizer is exactly what it says it is: pure, dehydrated, ground chicken manure. And guess what, your garden will love it.

Espoma’s chicken manure fertilizer is organic, natural, and full of all that good stuff your soil actually needs. It’s not magic. It won’t turn your garden into a paradise overnight. But it will feed your soil, boost your plants, and help you grow better food, just like how people have done it for thousands of years.

No artificial nonsense, no gimmicks, none of that.

Chicken manure is not a perfectly-balanced, lab-designed formula, it’s poop. It looks like poop, smells like poop, works like poop, and probably even tastes like poop. And that’s exactly why I love it.

Key Features of Chicken Manure

The NPK ratio of Espoma’s chicken manure is 3-2-3. This means it’s 3% nitrogen, 2% phosphorus, and 3% potassium by weight. That’s it. It’s not one of those crazy 30-30-30 fertilizers that burn the crap out of your plants. They’re real nutrients, right from chickens.

These nutrients are needed by your plants in the greatest quantities. The 3 of these are essential macronutrients for your plants, and all 3 of them are present in this fertilizer.

Chicken manure, being completely naturally-sourced, also contains many micronutrients that are important for plant physiological functions. Iron, boron, copper, and magnesium are all present in this fertilizer. This makes it way better than any lab-formulated crap.

Why You’ll Actually Use This Fertilizer

  • It’s honest nutrition for your soil. Real ingredients, real nutrients, real results.
  • Great for most plants: Vegetables, flowers, fruits, trees, ornamentals, or anything else you’ve got.
  • Adds organic matter to your soil without burning your plants.
  • It comes from chickens, not chemicals.

How to Use Chicken Manure

Unlike regular manure, you can’t just apply a bunch of chicken manure on your soil. Or you can, I’m not your mom. It’s more like an organic fertilizer than actual manure.

Don’t add a 2 inch layer of chicken manure on your soil. Instead, sprinkle some on top of your soil like parmigiano cheese on your pasta. Scratch it into the first few inches, and boom.

My favourite way to use chicken manure is to add a healthy pinch into the planting hole when I transplant my seedlings. It gives them the right boost they need to produce large leaves, vigorous roots, and many flowers.

Espoma’s organic chicken manure fertilizer works.
